BIWA STUDIOS is a commercial photography and hi-speed digital movie studio in Manhattan. They specialized in high speed still life, especially water and liquids.

The studio is essentially comprised of photographers: NORIMICHI INOGUCHI, SHINICHI MARUYAMA and WAYNE WILSON.

The video presented above is a short reel of work by SHINICHI MARUYAMA; he was born in 1968 in Nagano, Japan and started his professional career in tokyo in 1993, 10 years later relocating his studio to new york city in search of more global opportunities. Specializing in splashing and energetic movements within shots, MARUYAMA has become highly sought after for hisexpertise in this field expanding his career into europe in 2005.
