Under The Influence is a photographic essay by visual artist AXEL SANSON and photographer REBECCA FANUELE.

The project started after the death of AXEL‘s grandmother, when he was forced to sell her fantastic house as well as her objects. To keep the memoirs of this place, like a remedy for the loss, he decided to create a series of pictures in this imposing town house. Quite quickly, he found REBECCA (who he didn’t know before) to shoot the series then he chose an actress to incarn the “spirit” of his grandmother who was a woman with an intense past. These pictures are about the neurosis which contain and consume us but reveal all the more that something negativ can be turned into a creativ idea!
