The work of american artist NICK HOWARD blows my mind. Simply intense and highly imaginative:

My drawings are composed of strange characters that occupy a world of their own. They are infused with a strong narrative sense but are not particularly logical or linear in manner. This lack of structure allows me to explore an enduring fascination with how our minds work. In particular the fascination with how our internal life becomes external and functions in the environment around us. Obsessive mark making with pen on paper allows me to create this world that is as familiar as it is mysterious.
