I’ve discovered the hyperrealistic painting by KAREL FUNK @ Art Basel 40. She produces portraits of men shown in head-and-shoulders view, painted in acrylic on wood panel.

I’m just fascinated by the extreme precision of the rendering and the imprecision of the space and by the personal and the anonymous of her portraits.
