Kunsthalle Wien has provided the year 2008’s highlight by featuring a special exhibtion called “Western Motel. Edward Hopper & Contemporary Art“. Western Hotel is an exemplary picture from Edward Hopper’s mature work. Curator Gerald Matt echoed Hopper’s oeuvre with contemporary positions by the artists like Ed Ruscha, Rachel Whiteread or Tim Eitel.
