This is a screen capture from the website newscenario.net, an online platform conceived by German artists PAUL BARSCH and TILMAN HORNIG which aims to present a ‘new conceptual, time based and performative exhibition formats’.
The first online exhibition that has been published earlier this month, is entitled CRASH and features images of artworks by PAUL BARSCH, BURKHARD BESCHOW, ADAM CRUCES, ZACK DAVIS, ANNE FELLNER (see above), TILMAN HORNIG, AOTO OOUCHI, THOMAS PAYNE, CLEMENCE DE LA TOUR DU PIN, CAMILLA STEINUM and RONNY SZILLO, inside a HUMMER stretch limo.
Flashing lights of the metropolis.
Stretched coaches cruise the steaming asphalt. Never sure what they carry.
Hidden behind tinted glass.
Like whales they glide through crowded streets, stolid and majestic.
