As for his previous work, habitat, consumerism, ideology, celebrity and mass media are core questions in YVES SCHERER‘s new solo exhibition that is taking placing in two different location in Mexico City . ‘The show takes its title from the 2012 motion picture starring KRISTEN STEWARD as Snow White and CHRIS HEMSWORTH as the Huntsman; a movie which was met with little interest at the box office, but has made headlines for what happened behind the scenes’ according to the press release.

From these hollywood gossips, SCHERER fabricated a whole immersive universe despite the two sites, in which each image, each painting and object is a point on YVES SCHERER‘s own contemporary pop tale.

Snow White and the Huntsman presented by ATTILIA FATTORI FRANCHINI and josegarcia, mx is on view at General Prim 30, Colonia Juarez and at Casa Pedregal, Avenida de Las Fuentes 180, Jardines del Pedregal both in Mexico City until February 28, 2016.
