NICO KRIJNO is photographer, artist and filmmaker from South-Africa who creates nothing but pure magic with everything he gets in front of his lens. Mostly shot with analogue cameras, his moody images capture intimate and everyday moment of his friends around South Africa and caught the energy of a particular time and place.

At times staged, and at times spontaneous, KRIJNO’s images frequently reference their creation, establishing a new parallel reality that puts our imagination and our objective perception at loggerheads. – by MATTHEW FREEMANTLE

Sharing his time between Cape Town and London, NICO KRIJNO had his first solo show earlier this year at Museum Gallery in Cape Town and has just released his first monograph entitled On How to Fill Those Gaps.
