Airplanes from the inside, airplanes from the outside, airports, and cityscapes: DOUG AITKEN takes the viewer on a journey across space and time through a surreal and hazy collection of photographs. These pictures all have a similar familiar feeling, with AITKEN describing them as “subconscious snapshots that you see out of the window of a passing car or train; things you observe while waiting for someone”.
This series of image leave you asking questions, wanting to know more, and at the same time, provide you with incredible, aesthetically pleasing triggers that allow you to fantasize your own personal narrative.
The more you look the more you see! Clearly the case for AITKEN‘s works.
