Swiss artist INGO GIEZENDANNER, alias GRRRR, has been documenting, in black-and-white line drawings, the surroundings on location where he has traveled, lived, or just stayed for a while–from his native Zurich to cities like Nairobi, New York, Cairo, Karachi and New Orleans.

GRRRR has been presenting his work continuously in a series of publications like a self-published booklet GRR1 video , which appeared in 1998 or like “GRR30 urban recordings” his thirtieth publication which provides a great compilation of his drawings from the years 1998 to 2006.

Additionnally his drawings have been presented in numerous magazines, books and animated films as well as in spacious installations and wallpaintings.

By the way: great track from MORITZ WETTSTEIN which fits perfectly to the video!
