Yves Netzhammer

Nistplätze für Berührungen. 2006

Swiss artist YVES NETZHAMMER studied architecture in Zurich and later obtained a diploma at the Hochschule für Gestaltung und Kunst Zürich, department of visual design (1995). Since then he has produced video installations, 3D animations, drawings, paintings and other objects, using the computer to create pictures and animated film sequences that offer a poetic and evocative interpretation of the world we live in.

After showing his work at personal and collective exhibitions, and after winning a number of major prizes and awards, NETZHAMMER represented Switzerland, along with CHRISTINE STREULI, at the National Pavilion in the Giardini di Castello at the Venice Biennale, in 2007.

Since 2006 YVES NETZHAMMER publishes online in the Blog Journal for Art, Sex and Mathematics.

Nothing less than delightful!
