LARS SILTBERG works almost exclusively in video, staging visual experiments where he modifies, transforms and studies the human body through the lens of his high-definition digital camera. He invites the viewer into a world where the most fundamental concepts of our very existence are brought into play. It is world where humour and irony plays an important role, but a world that can be deadly serious as well.

LARS SILTBERG was educated at The School of Photography at Göteborg University. He has participated in several group exhibitions, including Plateau of Humankind, Venice 2001, and has held a number of solo exhibitions at Milliken Gallery, Stockholm. He lives and works in Stockholm, Sweden.
