ATHENE GALICIADIS comes from Zurich and creates a work that reflects the common aspects of her research, which focuses on forms and colors. Via sculpture and painting, she removes the rational element inherent in the creative process, and lets herself be guided by the sensations she receives from colors and forms, trying to recompose her favorite iconographic elements such as triangles, mosaics and fences. 

And good news: How to Save My Plants by ATHENE will be discretly on view in the tunnel de la Barre in Lausanne, during Les Urbaines festival taking place the 2, 3, 4 December, 2011.
