With frankness and vivacity Chinese photographer HAN CHAO, 25 years old, documents his life as a gay man. The intimate photos of friends, lovers and other aspects of his world build up a mood and aesthetic that combines elements of claustrophobia (nearly all of the photos were shot indoors, in cramped, cluttered rooms) and happiness.
