ANGELIKA J.TROJNARSKI‘ sewn collages depict desolate personal and cultural landscapes, and the barbed-wire evidence of the human footprint. She reminds us without an overwhelmingly political bent that sight and memory are both grossly faulty modes of perception, but they’re all we have with which to hold the world.

ANGELIKA J.TROJNARSKI was born in Mragowo, Poland, and studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Düsseldorf since 2004. She lives and works in Düsseldorf.
