MAKOTO AZUMA is not only a florist who creates punk art using plants and flowers but he is also the owner of the flower shop Jardins des Fleurs and of gallery AMPG (closed in March 2009) both based in Tokyo.

During the two-years opening from April 2007 to March 2009, he exhibited botanical installations, one in every month 24 works as total. MAKOTO AZUMA presented more radical, experimental works that provoked new aspects of plants within the viewers.

His unique vision makes us think twice about plants and flowers.
