Italian artist BEATRICE MORABITO started to take picutres just to the pleasure and she has become a master at using light, poses to convey expression while working with the limitations of the fixed faces of her subjects.

“My works as a kind of secret Diary where, instead of writing my feelings, dreams and my life events, I do freeze frame them in a picture and instead of lock them, hiding from other ones eyes, I expose them. Using dolls as my alter-ego, I do believe I’m the Alter-Ego of my dolls: the game of the projections allow me to express my emotions in them and I like to think we both are confused one inside the other.“
